We come back after some days of silence reviewing MU's three new signings. MU has signed Nani from Sporting Lisbon, Anderson from Porto and later on the 1st of July, Owen Hargreaves from MU.
Nani and Anderson are promising skillful youngster and has been linked to the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and Real Madrid. So well done to MU for such a brilliant coup. It is evident that Sir Alex is looking to add more pace, skill and flair to the Red Devils. The future of MU first eleven would have Ronaldo and Nani down the wings. A fearsome attack force just got better. Anderson is a central attacking midfielder. The Porto midfielder was crowned player of the tournament at the 2005 Under-17 World Championships and is part of Brazil's squad for this summer's Copa America Is it to be a long term replacement for Scholes? Time will tell.
Owen Hargreaves is signed to provide the defensive midfielder that MU has tried to find since the departure of Keano. So with Hargreaves in, it looks like we will see more of the 4-5-1 system. Hargreaves playing behind Carrick and Scholes. This would mean less matches for the likes of Fletcher. (we hear the MU fans cheering). A hard tackler in the centre, Hargreaves would provide that stability and would allow Carrick to roam more forward. (remember Roma?)
We will provide more details of the new signings in upcoming articles.
