Juve in for Lampard

Juventus has decided to take advantage of Lampard's non-progressing contract negotiations by making it known they are interested. Juve have made no secret of their respect and admiration for Lampard, but the ‘News of the World’ claims that this could finally turn into a firm bid.

As he has served more than three years under his existing contract and is over the age of 28, a new FIFA ruling means he could even buy himself out of the deal for just £9m.

A Stamford Bridge insider have commented that reconciliation between Lampard and Chelsea are “highly unlikely. This looks like the end of the road for Frank and Chelsea.”

Barcelona, Real Madrid and possibly Inter could also be interested in Lampard.
