Overhaul in store for Liverpool?

The outgoings:
Fowler and Dudek are confirmed to be leaving the club after thier contracts have not be renewed by the club. Fowler never really fit the bill for Rafa. He no longer has the legs to play up front for Liverpool. Jerzy Dudek never really challenged Reina for the first team spot. On the occasional appearnce he has performed quite poorly. Expect the No. 1 to go to Pepe Reina for next season. Carson will also be returning from his loan spell at Charlton.

Sami Hyypia, Boudewijn Zenden, Mark González, Harry Kewell and Craig Bellamy feature on the 'unwanted' list of both The Guardian and Independent. The latter publication adds the name of Scott Carson, while the Guardian reminds readers that Djibril Cisse is only on loan at Marseille. Yup, we'd forgotten that as well. Hyypia has lost his place in the first eleven but is still hungry for first team football. Expect him to stay in the premiership. Zenden has got a recent run of games but isnt exactly a good enough winger or central midfielder. Gonzalez had an average first season. We expect him to leave on loan. Bellamy had the Cisse problem. Quick as lightning but dont really play the team game. Bellamy is slightly better in team play but he has not really shown what he is capable of. A bad boy in nature, Rafa could just have lost faith in him. Expect both strikers to go out since Voronin is set to arrive in the summer. One more striker is expected to be signed up.

Xabi Alonso has also been mentioned due to the rumors that he might be dropped for the final. Crouch is another who is sweating under the collar. We dont think Xabi will leave. Crouch is a small possibility even though he has the best return in terms of goals.

Incoming
Benitez has around £40m to spend and the Guardian says that 'a striker capable of scoring 20 goals a season is a priority - Samuel Eto'o and Fernando Torres of Barcelona and Atlético Madrid respectively remain plausible targets'.

Three signings are already in place - Andriy Voronin, the Bayer Leverkusen forward, plus Lucas Leiva and Sebastián Leto, two highly rated youngsters from South America.

Carlos Tévez, the West Ham United forward, Daniel Alves, the Seville wing back, and Morten Gamst Pedersen, the Blackburn Rovers winger, also in his thoughts.
