Ronaldinho is disappointed with the Spanish FA's decision to uphold his one-match suspension following his sending off against Getafe last weekend. What does he expect? He kicked the fella twice.
The Brazil playmaker was shown a straight red card in the first half of the 1-0 win after kicking out at David Belenguer.
Barca appealed against the one-match ban, claiming Ronaldinho had been provoked, but the Spainish FA stood firm. All this means that Barca will be missing Ronaldinho for the match against local rivals Espanyol on the 9 of June.
Ronaldinho said, "It is not fair. For me it is very important to play against Espanyol because of what we are playing for and it is a shame that it cannot happen," Now guys, tell me whats not so fair about the whole thing. Face it Ron, you are not above the laws of the game.
Barca are currently level with Real Madrid at the top of the Primera Liga standings on 72 points, although Madrid hold the upper hand due to their superior head-to-head record against Barca with two games remaining.
