Sir Alex isn't going nowhere

Football fans are set to see a lot more the Sir Alex bubble gum chewing action in the coming years. This comes after the United boss says he can't see himself retiring anytime soon following the arrival on the world-stage of his latest batch of fledglings. No he was not referring to Nani and Anderson. He was referring to Ronaldo and Rooney. Ferguson was due to retire at the end of the 2001/2 season but reversed his decision during the campaign, agreeing to stay for at least another three years and lets just say now, it will be more than that.

This is what the gaffer had to say, "There will be a time when I retire but when that is I have absolutely no idea. Young people help you and I've got some good young players at the club, and good personalities. Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney are fun to watch in training with all their tricks and their double act, and I think that helps keep you young. As long as my health is good that is a consideration, without question. But I feel good and I think that is the determining factor to carry on."
