New Chelsea signing Talal Ben Haim has said, "It is a dream come true as Chelsea are the biggest club in the world. It was hard to turn down Newcastle because Sam Allardyce helped me take my first steps in English football, which I will never forget."

Inter is the latest to come swooping in for Frank Lampard. This comes after Juve has been put off by the 17 million pounds price tag on Lampard. Moratti, Inter's president wants to pair up Lampard and Vieira in the middle of his midfield.

Another president, Silvio Berlusconi of AC Milan has come and said...."I like Eto'o, he is young, but I am a romantic and I prefer Shevchenko. The last time I spoke to Galliani(vice president of AC), which was a couple of days ago, the probability of Shevchenko returning to Milan was 80%. Had that percentage gone down, I'm sure Galliani would have told me."

"Sheva has a great desire to return. There are no obstacles linked to his salary because he would be winning a similar fee as that of our top players. We will have to negotiate his transfer with Chelsea, each club looks at their own interests.

"I really believe Shevchenko would be an ideal player to complete our attacking line. I consider Sheva as my son. I have experienced important moments with his family, such as his father's heart operation and the birth of his son, who I'm a godfather to. Andriy is still young, he's got so many years of his career ahead of him."


Chelsea will send their Serbian youngster Slobodan Rajkovic on-loan at Dutch sister club PSV Eindhoven next season. Chelsea signed the 18 year-old from OFK Belgrade two years ago and have sent him out on loan at his former club.

Manchester United and Chelsea are expected to battle it out for Barcelona 16 year old Israeli whizkid Gay Assulin.

West Ham United are planning a £12 million bid for Chelsea winger Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho reiteratas that his relationship with club owner Roman Abramovich is okay. Mourinho, speaking during a charity tour in Ghana, "We work together on the same mission and on the same course. I have to respect him, he's the boss." Asked by local journalists if he would phone Abramovich to see how his day was going, Jose added: "Would you phone the president of Ghana?"

Charlton Athletic are interested in Chelsea striker Ben Sahar.
