Liverpool News....all talk no buys again...

After all the incoming rumors, here's one outgoing one. Liverpool youngster Dean Guthrie is set to move to Southampton after spending some time on loan there last season. He is rated at 1 million pounds.

Mark Gonzalez is set to move back to Liverpool. Confused? Gonzalez has come out and said that if Betis gets relegated on the last weekend of the Spanish season, he will not move there. Betis are only a point above the dropzone going into the final week of the Spanish Liga season.

After seemingly lost out on Torres and Eto' o, Rafa has gone to turn his attentions to B grade strikers once again. This time, he has shifted his attention to Villareal's Diego Forlan and Zaragoza's Diego Milito. Forlan has a release clause of 16 million pounds.

Liverpool are chasing Barcelona midfielder Marc Crosas. Crosas is also attracting interest from Real Madrid. The youngster has been a regular with Barca B this season.

Liverpool are set for a clear path at Benfica's Simao Sabrosa. Olympique Lyon and PSG have made contact with Simao's representatives but Simao has mentioned that he did not want to go to France. If he must leave Benfica, Simao would only consider a move to England.

Newcastle United remain keen on Liverpool defender Sami Hyypia.

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher reckons the days of one-club players will soon be history. Last week, Carragher and Steven Gerrard signed four-year deals and both have insisted on finishing their careers on Merseyside.

Carragher, 29, said: "The way football is now it's going to get harder to stay at one club your whole career. It's been easier for me and Stevie because we're at a big club, playing on a big stage every week and competing for trophies. Now scouts look for the best players in countries which 10 or so years ago, wouldn't have had anyone in the Premiership."
