Newcastle signs Geremi

Sam Allardyce has reported to have signed Geremi for a fee of 3.4 million Euros. Geremi would become his fourth summer signing.

According to news from the North-East, Geremi broke off from his holiday in Africa to fly into Newcastle airport this morning and then proceeded to be given the guided tour of Newcastle’s facilities.

The Cameroonian international was so impressed that he swiftly signed a contract. It is understood that the promise of regular first-team football as well as the chance to play a role in the Toon revolution proved to tempting too turn down, especially as Jose Mourinho had said that he did not figure in Chelsea’s plans.
